Whitney Port put Jennifer Lopez on blast for staging paparazzi photos.
The 39-year-old The Hills alum and her husband discussed seeing Lopez in the Hamptons on their With Whit podcast in an episode shared on July 30. “Candy Kitchen in Bridgehampton… is so special that I’m pretty sure J. Lo the other day was riding her bike to get a scoop of ice cream for a paparazzi shot,” Port said.
Her husband, Tim Rosenman, claimed Lopez “did not even go in” to the shop, and was “just there for the exterior shot.” The 42-year-old called the “Can’t Get Enough” singer’s behavior “weird.”

“She’s already as famous as you can be, why does she need to stoke the fans of her own flame?” Rosenman asked, adding that it feels “unnecessary.” However, Port insisted that was the singer’s “vibe.” She explained, “She’s popped everywhere. Her continually looking hot in cute settings is what keeps the machine going.”
Rosenman continued to wonder, musing why the multi-hyphenate star even needs to “keep the machine going.” He and his wife admitted that if they had J. Lo’s wealth, they would “just be done,” relaxing somewhere “on the beach.”
Port claimed she has never been one to call the paparazzi to arrange shoots, while the pair both agreed Lopez must just be “addicted to the attention.”
Port and Rosenman met while he was a producer on her series, The City. The pair began dating in 2012, and announced their engagement in November 2013. The couple, who tied the knot in November 2015, welcomed their son Sonny Sanford in July 2017.
Lopez, who has seemingly been without husband Ben Affleck for a large part of the summer, celebrated the Fourth of July and her 55th birthday without him in the Hamptons. Fans have been wondering if the couple had called it quits since it was reported in June that the two were selling their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, per TMZ.
Lopez seemed to fan the flames in July when she posted a video to her JLo Beauty account in which she wasn’t wearing her big diamond wedding ring.
The couple reunited in April 2021 after originally calling off their engagement back in the early 2000s. They tied the knot in a small ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022.
