Actress Taapsee Pannu who is known for her candid nature, recently shed light on her complex relationship with the paparazzi.
In an interview with Fever FM, the ‘Thappad’ actor discussed her reluctance to appease photographers and expressed her concerns about how they often exploit her statements and videos for their own commercial gain.
Taapsee remarked that sensational news tends to attract more attention than positive news.She questioned how many people actually click on positive stories and pointed out that more sensational headlines, like her being portrayed as rude to paparazzi, generate more interest. This type of news excites the audience and makes them curious about what happened.
Taapsee added that such matters are not helping her secure film roles and emphasized that her work speaks for itself. She stated that she doesn’t feel the need to appease a certain section of the media, which she believes is primarily interested in generating clicks for their portals. Taapsee expressed her view that true media should not rely on clickbait content.
On the work front, Taapsee will soon be seen in ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba,’ a sequel to her web film ‘Hasseen Dillruba,’ alongside Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. She also has ‘Khel Khel Mein’, wherein she will share the screen with Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal.
