Janhvi Kapoor has said that the paparazzi have stopped clicking her pictures from behind ever since she asked them not to do it. The actress was recently speaking to The Male Feminist for Hauterrfly when she opened up about the paparazzi culture and shared that she can tell shutterbugs if she does not like the way she is being clicked.
“I think I said something while promoting Mahi, ‘Please galat angle se mat lena,’ and since then they have been like, ‘Nahi, nahi hum peeche se nahi lenge! Are mudo mudo (No, we will not click from behind. Turn around)!’ Even if it is a demonstration, I really appreciate it. They put like, ‘Guess who is this’ from the back shot, and that gets the maximum amount of clickbait. So of course they will pick on that, but I don’t think that justifies such decisions. I can say that I don’t like how I am being shown in this. I am not comfortable with people seeing this much of me that way. They are forced to listen to me because this is my decision and my choice,” Janhvi said.
The 27-year-old actress added that she told the paparazzi about it because she wanted to express her opinion.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will soon be seen in Ulajh. It follows the journey of a young IFS officer (Janhvi) who comes from a prominent family of patriots. While working at an important post far from home, she gets caught up in a dangerous personal conspiracy. The film also features Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Arun Malik ( as Indian High Commissioner), Jitendra Joshi, Meiyang Chang and more in significant roles.
Apart from Ulajh, Janhvi Kapoor will appear in director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming drama film Karna. The film also features Shahid Kapoor and Suriya in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Gulshan has also completed the filming of director Kaushal Oza’s upcoming comedy-drama film Little Thomas.
