Rakul Preet Singh experienced a minor mishap at the trailer launch of ‘Dharmaveer 2‘ on Saturday evening, but lucky for her, hubby Jackky Bhagnani was around to swoop in.
In a viral video doing the rounds, the actress was seen making her way out of the venue when she missed a step and nearly fell. Fortunately, Jackky was quick to react and caught her before she could take a tumble.
Jackky gained some major husband points as he helped his wife regain her balance and prevent what could have been an embarrassing fall.
However, she noticed that some members of the paparazzi were laughing at her near-fall. Seemingly upset at them, she remarked, “Ye koi hasne ki baat hai? (Is this something to laugh about?)”
For the event, Rakul stunned in a green-printed saree paired with a stylish blouse. She accessorized her outfit with high heels and elegant jhumkas.
The trailer launch of “Dharmaveer 2” was a star-studded affair, with Bollywood heavyweights like Salman Khan, Govinda, and Jeetendra also in attendance. The film continues the narrative of the life of Anand Dighe, a revered leader of the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. The first installment featured Prasad Oak portraying Anand Dighe and Kshitish Date as Eknath Shinde, Dighe’s protégé and a significant figure in the storyline.
