Victor Osimhen will come under intense media scrutiny by the notorious ‘Paris Paparazzi’ should his transfer to PSG go through.
PSG are locked in negotiations with Napoli for Osimhen with various reports suggesting an agreement on a transfer fee could finally be reached this week.
The Super Eagles striker will then be the poster-boy of the perennial Ligue 1 champions in place of Kylian Mbappe.
His new celebrity status will be come at a high price for Osimhen as his everything will be of interest to the Paparazzi in Paris, who are mainly freelance photographers that aggressively chase celebrities for candid photos .
The Paris Paparazzi gained international notoriety following the tragic death of Princess Diana in August 1997 with allegations that they even caused the accident that killed her.
“Osimhen has to be very mindful of the Paparazzi in Paris, they will be after everything he does and says both on and off the pitch,” a former Super Eagles star who played in France informed SCORENigeria
“The Paparazzi forced Ronaldinho to quit PSG for Barcelona as they were reporting all the night clubs he visited.
“Even ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha was not spared by them.
“They can be a real nuisance.”
