The Only Way is Essex star Ella Rae Wise has shared why her and Dan Edgar’s romance ended before they headed on their recent Cyprus trip.
Rumours have emerged that the pair are once again an item after they split. The pair first got together during the TOWIE cast trip to Bali earlier this year, but didn’t last long once they landed back in the UK.
Awkward situations were created when Dan and Ella got together due to friends of Dan’s ex-girlfriend of six years Amber Turner not being too pleased. Despite this, it looks like Dan and Ella couldn’t keep away from each other and are now potentially back on.
Speaking to The Sun, Ella Rae said that the relationship was put on hold due to others speaking behind their backs. She said: “When we got home from Bali and when we’d finished filming, I’d still see him and we were pretty close. But it did get to the part where communication was lost massively and we were playing things down so much and not actually being 100 per cent truthful with our feelings.”
The current series of the reality show is being filmed in Cyprus which could spark another holiday romance between them. Ella said: “We never know what’s going to happen at the end of Cyprus and we never know what’s going to happen at the end of series 34 either, so make sure you watch and then you’ll know.”

The last series of TOWIE followed the love triangle which involved Dan, Ella Rae and Amber. The Bali romance followed Dan’s messy split from Amber who was also on the trip. After Amber and Dan broke up, he got into a romance with Hannah Rally.
However, this didn’t last too long as Dan told Hannah that he wasn’t looking to settle down, but then he got close to Ella not long after.A source said at the time: “Things were going really well and he even told her he loved her – but he said he wasn’t ready for anything serious. Next thing he is in Bali for TOWIE filming and is getting with Ella.
“Hannah was obviously really shocked, but she just didn’t want the drama to decide to wash her hands of him. But they ended up getting together again when Ella was out of town in Dubai. Ella ended up finding out what happened between Dan and Hannah and was furious.” Despite all of this, it sounds like Dan and Ella could be back on the cards now they are enjoying sunny Cyprus together.
