Justin Bieber shook a leg to his chartbusters including ‘Boyfriend’, ‘Baby’, ‘No Brainer’, ‘Sorry’, among others at the starry Ambani event. With an audience comprising of big names from Bollywood, the world of cricket, and political circuits, his performance was a roaring success. His fans couldn’t get enough of his high-octane musical extravaganza, which was palpable in the videos circulating on social media that quickly became a sensation. However, his departure from India left a bitter taste as his fans felt let down when he neglected to acknowledge the paparazzi at the airport.

A renowned paparazzo shared a video on Instagram that unraveled a scenario with Justin Bieber and the shutterbugs. The photographers were seen urging Bieber for few snaps, but his reaction was somewhat unresponsive as he steered directly towards the airport. The video interestingly brings to light moments where Bieber is warmly exchanging handshakes with a crowd huddled near the entrance.

As soon as the singer’s video surfaced on the internet, a wave of criticism flooded from viewers. Yet, a segment of the online community stepped up to the singer’s defense, arguing his right to refuse photo requests or spare his waiting time.

There’s been a comparison drawn between Bieber and Rihanna, who kindly hung around at the Jamnagar airport for some snapshots with the paparazzi post her performance at the Anant and Radhika’s pre-nuptial ceremony in March 2024.

One person observed – “Why the uproar, mate? Clearly, he doesn’t want to pose. Is there some unwritten rule? He’s probably worn out after his act. He was here for work, did his bit, and is now on his way out, bothering no one.” Another user commented, “Rihanna was better at least she posed and seemed friendly.”
An Instagram user commented, “10 million $ for an hour of private show. That’s really expensive and he don’t even wait for post show meet up… Guy is really want to go home considering he is going to be father soon (sic).”

A disgruntled fan voiced out his frustration by saying, “I am quite annoyed with Justin’s insensitivity and lack of common courtesy, he didn’t even bother to share any photos.” “Justin, you could have at least shown some kindness to the Indian photographers. Granted, you might have been exhausted, but still,” one comment read. “Some press members and fans are going above and beyond in their praises for Justin, even though he seems to be disregarding them. We shouldn’t downplay our self-worth for someone who doesn’t even appreciate his fans. Remember, it’s his fans that catapulted him to stardom,” another follower critiqued.

On the early morning of Friday, July 5, Canadian singer, Justin Bieber, touched down in Mumbai, making a comeback to India after being away for seven long years. He initially had plans to delight his fans with a concert in India in 2022, but unfortunately, it had to be cancelled due to his health complications.
