Travis Kelce managed to get in a few words about Bill Belichick’s controversial new relationship before he was cut off by Jason Kelce, who told his younger brother in no uncertain terms that he wanted to part in it.
The Kelce brothers’ latest New Heights podcast episode not only featured Taylor Swift references — after all, they were in London for Swift’s Wembley Stadium shows — Travis also made mention of the 72-year-old New England Patriot manager’s age-gap relationship with Jordon Hudson, which immediately went viral once the news broke earlier this month. (Hudson, for her part, is 24.)
“Belichick’s a smooth operator. His dau — his girlfriend’s —,” Travis commented with a laugh. (Many fans claim that they heard the Kansas City Chiefs tight end jokingly start to call Hudson Belichick’s “daughter” before saying “girlfriend.”)
“Let’s not go there, please,” Jason interjected. “Jesus Christ.”
Travis, for his part, managed to squeeze in one last line. “He’s killing it,” he marked of Belichick.
Fans, of course, had their own thoughts on Travis’ commentary.
“Does Travis not see the problem with the age gap? The age gap is huge and he jokes about it — to the point he calls Jordon: Belichick’s daughter,” one person wrote via X (formerly known as Twitter). “Who tf is Travis to publicly weigh in on this?”
Another chided the NFL star, opining that it was only funny for him to praise Belichick because he wasn’t involved.
“Until it’s one of your nieces.. @killatrav,” the person wrote via instagram, referring to Jason’s three young daughters with wife Kylie Kelce. (Jason and Kylie, who married in 2018, are the parents of Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1.)
“Don’t do it Trav,” penned a third person, seemingly echoing Jason’s remarks.

Others, however, found Travis’ commentary hilarious — and cunning.
“Travis feeling a lil c***y this ep like that belichick joke lmao dude would thrive on stan twitter,” someone quipped via X.
“He almost said his daughter instead of girlfriend and I almost died,” another fan wrote.
“The ‘belichicks dau…. Girlfriend is….’ Had me rollinggggg😭😭😂😂,” agreed another user.
While Belichick hasn’t commented on his own new romance, he did discuss Travis and Swift’s back in 2023.
“Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career. This would be the biggest,” the NFL mainstay stated in September 2023.
