The couple enjoyed their time on a boat, with Russell attentively ensuring his wife's safety as they navigated the vessel's deck.This relaxing trip came after Hawn recently opened up about the challenges they faced in Los Angeles. During an interview with Kelly Ripa on the Let's Talk Off Camera podcast on Wednesday, June 12, Hawn revealed that she and Russell had been victims of not only one, but two home invasions within four months. The intruders accessed their home via a balcony, stealing valuable items from their bedroom and closets. "They completely knocked down my door, which is a safe door, so they're very, very sophisticated," Hawn explained.In a more alarming event, Hawn was home alone when she heard a loud noise upstairs. She later discovered that the burglars had attempted to break into her bedroom. "It was just like, was that a sonic boom? Did somebody jump somewhere?" she recalled. This second invasion left her feeling vulnerable and considering a move to a safer location, such as Palm Desert. "What if we couldn't live in L.A., where would we live? We both decided, I think it's Palm Desert... it's so safe," she stated. The actress also admitted in the podcast that she is "never without" her security guard since the incidents occurred.
