Fans of Love Island are certain they have uncovered a secret spat between two of the stars of this series – despite the pair claiming they are best pals.
Eagle-eyed viewers are convinced Samantha has performed a U-turn on her friendship with Harriett, highlighting how she appeared to attack her pal in a private gossip session with fellow contestant Jess.
With Harriett engrossed in conversation with Ronnie in the garden, Samantha and Jess snooped on them from afar and made their negative feelings very clear.
Jess said: “Get a grip mate. She f***ing fancied Ciaran the other day, she fancied Sean the other day, now she fancies him, because all the others have seen through it.”
However, it was the way Samantha chose to respond that surprised viewers, and set tongues wagging online.

Samantha said: “Yeah. She fancied Joey at one point, do you know what I mean.”
Taking to social media, Love Island fans even went so far as to question whether Sam and Harriett had been shown to have fallen out and they had simply missed that part of the show.
The pair had seemed thick as thieves so far and had hugged and made up after Samantha called Harriett “petty” earlier this week. This was in response to Harriett taking Joey into the hideaway to get revenge on Ciaran, who had taken Nicole there.

On Twitter, one fan wrote: “So Samantha and Harriett aren’t besties anymore then?” Another said: “I thought Sam and Harriett were besties?” While a third remarked: “Damn talking smack about Harriett already.”
A fourth fan even claimed it looked like “omg the girls hate Harriett,” and another fan was in agreement, adding: “They can’t stand her.”
Harriett has been taking heavy criticism from viewers all throughout this week. One thing in particular that has offended fans is when she performed a sultry dance for Joey in the hideaway despite assuring Sam that she was only taking Joey in there to get back at Ciaran.
