Kendall Jenner is pretty great at keeping secrets, as Gerry Turner recently found out. During a dinner with Kendall and her mom, Kris Jenner, while The Golden Bachelor was airing, Kendall saw something she shouldn’t have on Turner’s phone.
In a recent teaser for The Kardashians, Kendall mentions seeing a major spoiler for the inaugural season of the show on the star’s phone. Turner explained to TMZ that Kris and Kendall borrowed his phone to call his daughter Angie, who is a big fan of the duo. Kendall noticed contestant Theresa Nist’s contact was saved in his phone, revealing his final choice.
Apparently the Golden Bachelor alum wasn’t upset, instead appreciating the evening, describing the Jenners as “inclusive, gracious, warm, friendly, and elegant.” They ended the night watching The Golden Bachelor at the Jenner home theater.

Gerry, 71, and Theresa, 70, married in January but announced their split three months later due to their unwillingness to relocate from their families—Turner in Indiana and Nist in New Jersey. On an April episode of Good Morning America, he explained, “The thing that strikes me the most in our conversations is how dedicated both of us are to our families…we felt it was best for our happiness to live apart.” Nist added, “We looked at homes in South Carolina, considered New Jersey, and viewed house after house, but we never made a decision.”
ABC announced Joan Vassos as the first Golden Bachelorette during Disney’s Upfront presentation on May 14. At 61, Vassos is a school administrator who previously gained attention on Turner’s season. She emerged as a fan favorite before leaving voluntarily in week 3 due to a family emergency. Reflecting on her exit during the Women Tell All segment, Vassos shared her thoughts about what might have happened if she’d stayed.
ABC has yet to give a release date for the first season of The Golden Bachelorette.
