Made in Chelsea stars marry in Christmas ceremony- two weeks after first wedding

Made In Chelsea stars Maeva D’Ascanio and James Taylor have tied-the-knot for a second time – with a lavish wedding celebration.

The 27-year-old French beauty and the 28-year-old model swapped vows at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire following their legal ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall in November. And now photos from the lavish ceremony have emerged – showing Maeva in a stunning lace wedding gown, and James scrubbing up well in a smart suit.

The pair were surrounded by loved ones as they vowed to be husband and wife til death – with their ceremony taking place while surrounded by Christmas trees and candles, flowers and fairy lights. A string of Made In Chelsea co-stars were present to watch the emotional moment, with Ruby Adler, Reza Amiri-Garroussi, Hugo MacKenzie-Wood, Joel Mignott, Robbie Mullet, Tristan Phipps, Digby Edgley and Sam Prince all present.

Maeva’s floor-length silk and lace gown was from Liz Martinez from P.S. Bridal Rental and featured hand-embroidered florals and a fitted bodice – and she sported a veil from Eden b. Studio and shoes from Jimmy Choo. While James dressed up in a Diverso navy blue tuxedo and bow tie.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Maeva gushed: “Everything was perfect, more than perfect.” And James added: “I know we did the legal bit the month before, but this was our moment. It had gravitas, which is exactly what we wanted.”

Describing the moment he set eyes on Maeva as she walked towards him in her dress, James said: “All the times we’d had together, all the memories, flashed before my eyes and I thought: ‘That’s my woman and she will be forever.'”

The pair opted for a festive ceremony at Christmas time, with Maeva explaining: “We wanted a Christmas vibe and to have it warm and cosy at the same time.” Details from the big day revealed that the couple’s one-year-old son Beau was also part of the ceremony.

James arrived for the wedding with his baby boy, dressed in a wedding outfit of his own, to the sound of Sir Elton John’s Your Song. While Maeve walked down the aisle to the sound of Sheena Easton’s For Your Eyes Only.

Maeva and James’s love life was documented on E4’s Made In Chelsea – and made for dramatic viewing. Forthright Maeva grew tired of waiting for James to propose to her so took matters into her own hand – only for her proposal to blow up in her face.

James rejected her when she tried to ask him to be her husband during a tense party scene. However, just a couple of months later, James finally popped the question himself while they were on holiday together in Italy.
