Senior actor Gulshan Grover openly criticized celebrities who ignore the paparazzi at airports. Grover recently had an interaction with paparazzi and mimicked and mocked some stars, pointing out the irony of their behavior. He noted that many of these celebrities call the paparazzi themselves, only to act surprised and aloof when they encounter them.

Grover described the scenario vividly. He said, “Maine dekha hai mere koi dost aise chalke aate hai paparazzi ke saamne airports parr poocho math. Mtlb family ke sath hai ya akele ho. Baad mein bina mtlb ‘b****’ phone pe dekhte jayenge , aage chale jayenge”

“I’ve seen my friends walk in front of the paparazzi at airports in such a way that you wouldn’t believe. Whether they’re with family or alone, they behave like it’s a big deal. Later, they pretend to be busy on their phones and just walk away.”

Grover’s comments reflect a growing frustration among some in the industry with the way certain celebrities handle their public appearances. He highlighted how these stars often seek media attention but act indifferent once they get it. This behavior, according to Grover, seems insincere and puts on a show of false modesty.

He emphasized that being a celebrity comes with certain responsibilities, including acknowledging the media and fans who support them. Grover believes that ignoring the paparazzi, especially when they have been invited or informed about the celebrity’s arrival, is disrespectful. He argued that such actions undermine the genuine effort paparazzi put into their work.

The veteran actor also touched upon the broader implications of this behavior. He pointed out that this kind of pretense creates a disconnect between celebrities and the public. Fans look up to their favorite stars and expect them to be more approachable and genuine. When celebrities act indifferent, it sends a negative message and can disappoint those who admire them.
