The Canadian actress was later transferred to a hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she was in intensive care. Unfortunately, on May 26 she fell five stories while being “escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway,” according to a GoFundMe page set up by her family. The page goes on to read, “She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support. We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.” Mamie’s other credits include the 2012 Hollywood film This Means War starring Reese Witherspoon, a guest appearance on the Netflix TV show A Series of Unfortunate Events and the 2020 TV movie Spotlight on Christmas. Erin Krakow, the star of When Calls the Heart, posted a photo of Mamie with a link to the GoFundMe page on Instagram, saying “I just donated.
