PENSACOLA, Fla. — No arrests have been made yet after a man was shot inside a Pensacola night club Sunday night.
Police say a 36-year-old man is the victim of the shooting inside Paparazzi night club on East Gregory Street. He suffered three gunshot wounds and was hospitalized, but is expected to survive.
The Paparazzi night club is no stranger to nearby businesses. Employees and customers say they’ve seen trash left behind, rowdy crowds and parking overflowing into other property lots.
“It definitely changed my mind about whether I want to come here late at night,” said Max Haines from Gulf Breeze. “ I haven’t seen anyone coming out of there with a suit and tie, let me put it that way.”
The club is right across from Tickets sports bar, where Haines says he often goes.
“There’s definitely been some shady things there,” he said. “It’s changed owners quite a few times.”
Police say officers have responded to the club before for the usual disturbance calls common to bars and clubs.
The investigation is ongoing. No suspect information has been released.
