Met Gala 2024: South Korean boy band Stray Kids made a stunning debut as Tommy and Dee Hilfiger ambassadors at the 2024 Met Gala. Along with BLACKPINK singer Jennie, who also marked her presence at the fashion’s biggest event, the group took over the green-carpet. While fans across the globe praised their good looks as the K-pop idols marked their attendance at the event, many others shared videos in which they said the group was the target of "racist" comments made by Met Gala paparazzi. Stray Kids, the eight-member group—Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.—made history as the first K-pop group to be invited to attend the Met Gala. The members arrived wearing custom Tommy Hilfiger, which featured the brand’s signature red, white, and blue colour palette.
