Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell shared an emotional update about her dad's cancer journey.The Australian professional dancer took to Instagram to show a slideshow of images of her dad, Mark, in hospital. In many of the pictures he proved his strength with a thumbs-up gesture, despite facing gruelling treatment.Captioning the video, Dianne, 34, explained that her beloved family member had undergone 12 rounds of chemo over a six-month period. She called him her "hero" as she gushed over how brave he has been as his treatment finally came to an end.The ITV star wrote: "To my daddy you did it six months later and 12 rounds done. I am so so PROUD of you it’s been a tough road but you have always done it with a smile and a thumbs up."I know you were scared and I know it was not easy but you have done it. I wish so much I could be there right now and just cuddle you."Dianne continued: "You're my hero and you have made me realise we all have so much more strength then we think. And to my beautiful mum who has not left your side and been the best support system ever thank you."Us kids are so lucky to have you both we love you so much. Now we need to book that trip in back to UK for the both of you."Strictly co-stars were quick to offer their congratulations and well wishes in the comments section. Fellow professional dancer Vito Coppola said: "Mark you have been a warrior and Gorji @diannebuswell absolutely a strong rock."We cannot wait to celebrate all together. This made me smile."Amy Dowden, who underwent her own cancer treatment, said: "Argh I’m crying! So happy for you all. Well done Mark, you absolute hero and to my gorgeous friend @diannebuswell."I know how strong you have been and I’m so proud of you xxxxxxx celebrations are in order and a big party when your in the uk xxx"
