Mum-of-22 Sue Radford has revealed some sad news about her family’s living situation.

The TV star, who documents her life with 22 children alongside husband Noel, shared an update on the purchase of a £850,000 farmhouse. She had told her fans that the Radford family were planning to move to a secluded home. One follower decided to ask Sue for an update on their move.

They asked: “Are you still moving house.” However, Sue sadly revealed their purchase “fell through” and that the couple had a change of heart. She shared: “No it fell through and we decided that we didn’t want a mortgage going into our 60s. Too old for that now.” Sue added: “I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason and I’m so glad he took it off the market now.”

A fan offered reassurance to Sue as they replied: “Aw what a shame. Thought that house was a perfect fit for your family. As long as you are happy, that’s all that matters.” While providing her followers with an update on the house, Sue also revealed their Channel 5 show 22 Kids and Counting was now available on Ch5 HD and that she only has two weeks of filming left for the latest series.

Earlier this year, viewers saw how Sue and Noel were forced to kick out five of their children when they relocated to the countryside. The parents of Britain’s biggest family lived in a Victorian home in Morecambe, Lancashire for 11 years. They had tried to sell the house three years ago but were unable to get the price they wanted. Financial strains forced them to stay put, yet things have now changed for the family.

The pair admitted they are now doing much better financially thanks to TV and social media deals. It allowed them to purchase a bigger and more secluded house in the country. Sue and Noel also wanted to leave their old home after fans of their show turned up on their doorstep. They had people taking photos of their home as well as wandering into their garden.

“People turning up at the house been a regular occurrence,” Sue explained on the programme. “I’m happy to speak to people when I’m out and about, but on your doorstep is too much.” The couple found a “perfect” five-bedroom, 2,690sqft country house, which was listed for £850,000. Viewers saw the couple fall in love with the house as Sue said: “We’ve found our dream home.”

Noel made an offer the next day, which was accepted. However, many of their 22 children soon realised there wouldn’t be enough room for them all to make the move. James, 20, Daniel, 24, Luke, 23, Jack, 26, and Katie, 21, all had to move out. The eldest three of Sue and Noel’s children – Chris, 34, Sophie, 29, Chloe, 28 – as well as Millie, 22, already live on their own. While the remaining 13 kids were set to move into the country house, sharing rooms.
