Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has shared a cryptic clue that she could be “falling in love” after she’s been on dates with boxer David Haye.
The actress, who was previously engaged to ex Scott Sinclair up in October year, was reported to have been on a string of dates with a ‘mystery man’. The new love interest has now been revealed to be boxer and I’m A Celebrity star David Haye, with the pair reportedly enjoying dinner dates.
Now the Coronation Street actress has shared a cryptic clue suggesting she’s ‘falling in love’ to her social media. The mum of three shared a quote to her Instagram which read: “I hope next year you fall in love with someone who makes you love the person you are when you’re around them.”

Whilst the quote didn’t mention David, after the news of their recent dates it could be clear that Helen has fully healed her heartbreak after she and ex Scott called off their engagement last year.
David, who in the past has been linked to rumours of a throuple with girlfriend Sian Osbourne and The Saturdays singer Una Healy, first met Helen when the pair appeared together in I’m A Celebrity in 2012. The pair have been friends for over a decade, but reportedly matched on celebrity dating app Raya recently.
A source told The Sun: “Helen told friends she’s been on dates with David. She’s met Sian before and is aware of reports of their throuple set-up but is obviously not involved.” Since 2020, David has been dating partner Sian Osborne but the pair have previously been open about ‘expanding’ their relationship.
A source close to the former soap star told the Mirror: “Helen reconnected with David earlier this year. They got on like a house on fire and have been messaging a lot since. Helen and Sian have also met and hit it off straight away. Helen’s a very open-minded person and all three got on well. Helen has had some difficult dating experiences since becoming single but is really enjoying David’s company.”
Since splitting, Helen has been open about her dating disasters, but it seems she may have found happiness with the unconventional relationship. The source added: “Helen and David got on well in the jungle, and so have seen each other a fair bit over the years. But recently they seem to have really clicked and had that chemistry. They’re having a lot of fun together.”
Mum of three Helen has previously opened up about exploring romance again in conversation with her family, with seven-year-old daughter Matilda revealing her mum had been on dates with a ‘hot man’. In a video clip shared on social media, Helen discussed the fact she was soon to go on a date with a mystery man with her eldest child. The video clip showed Matilda reveal: “My mum’s going on a date with someone tomorrow and I think she said he’s very hot.”
