I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! waved goodbye to their sixth star this evening.
Marvin Humes was evicted from the camp just days before the final, leaving their fellow campmates stunned over the news. This now means that Josie Gibson, Sam Thompson, Nigel Farage and Tony Bellew are in the final four.
Upon learning he was leaving the jungle, the JLS star, 38, said: “Cheers guys” before sweetly hugging all his campmates. He added: “I’m happy, I’m happy, I’m good, I’m good!” Talking to hosts Ant and Dec, he said: “This is mental, yeah, it does feel good [to be out].
“You know, after yesterday [where the campmates were reunited with loved ones], that was unbelievable, seeing Rochelle [his wife] in camp was the most amazing feeling ever. So to leave today, it’s perfect.”

He added: “This is the best show on TV. You guys are incredible, the crew – you’re all world class – and to be a part of it, it’s unbelievable. I can’t believe I’ve come this far, you know, to make it to 22 days!” Before being reunited with wife Rochelle on the famous jungle bridge, Marvin revealed he wants either Sam or Tony to win.
It comes after Danielle Harold was the fifth star to leave camp, Nick Pickard became the fourth star to be evicted, Fred Sirieix was the third star to leave, Nella Rose was the second and Frankie Dettori the first to leave camp. Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent both quit before the public vote.
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to share their thoughts on the JLS star’s exit. One person said: “Aw I really loved Marvin. He came across as so genuine and kind #ImACeleb”, a different account put: “Marvin even thanking the crew ??? How is this man not in the final four!! #ImACeleb” while another added: “Marvin is such a lovely guy didn’t deserve to go tonight! #ImACeleb.”
Marvin ended his I’m A Celebrity experience on a high, taking part in a trio of trials this week, Grotty Little Christmas on his last day, Critter Mixer with Nick and Tony Bellew as well as Fly On The Wall with Fred, which had been his first bush tucker trial since being in camp.
His exit on Friday night came just two days after his wife Rochelle had arrived in Australia, so she was there in time to be on the bridge for his exit. After her rush to get her because of work committments, the pair will now enjoy a weekend reunion and some time together at their Gold Coast hotel.
The duo had a sweet reunion on Friday’s episode before his exit, where Marvin hugged her and said: “I’m so grateful for everything in my life. This makes you so, so, so grateful. I know it sounds cheesy but it is life-changing, it really is.”
Before going onto the show, Marvin wanted to tackle his fears which included heights. And he made his children – daughters Alaia-Mai, 10, and Valentina, six, and three-year-old son Blake – proud when he skydived into the camp.
He formed a close friendship with Sam, teaching the Made In Chelsea dance routines and promising he could come on tour with JLS next Summer. And he also told how he started his family shortly after marrying Rochelle when he had proposed in the Maldives.
He told Nella and Josie: “We got back home, immediately started planning the wedding. We got married, we had five days together, then she went to America for six weeks to shoot a TV show in LA. Then I met her in New York, we had one night together in New York, she went back to LA, I went back to London, six weeks later she was pregnant, from that one night in New York.”
When the camp were sent letters from home, Marvin’s family note read: “Hey baby, Blake is talking so much more and has been telling his friends at nursery that his dad now ‘works in the jungle’. It’s so weird not having my best mate here. Love Roch, Alaia, Valle and Blake.”
