Nigel Farage’s French girlfriend has been pictured splashing the cash while he’s in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle.
Laure Ferrari looked like she had hit the shops hard as she was pictured struggling to carry all her bags after a shopping spree in Surfers Paradise on Australia’s Gold Coast, near where they film the ITV reality show. And there is apparently a lot of cash to splash as Farage is reportedly being paid a fee of £1.5 million for appearing on I’m A Celeb, making him the highest paid contestant of all time if the rumours are true.
At one point the 44-year-old appeared to fall over as she had so many bags, proving she had literally shopped till she dropped. She was so weighed down with her purchases from the likes of Zara that the bags were seen splitting in the street as she struggled to hold on to them.

In fact Laure, who dressed casually for her shopping spree in a while T-shirt and denim shorts, was so laden down with new things that at one point she was pictured looking unsteady on her feet and ended up toppling over. She was papped picking up clothes from the floor as her and the shopping bags were awry.
It is unclear how long Laure has been dating Farage, but reports claim she is his long-term girlfriend. However, the pair only confirmed their romance in an interview last week after Laure flew out to Australia to support her former UKIP leader beau. It is thought the pair met in Strasbourg as long ago as 2007, when she was working as a waitress. What started as a friendship is said to have blossomed into something more.
After Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard was the latest star to be sent home last night, Farage remains in the jungle ahead of this weekend’s final on Sunday, December 10. The current favourite to win this year’s show is former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson. This is followed by boxer Tony Bellew and This Morning host Josie Gibson, according to Paddy Power.

YouTube star Nella Rose, jockey Frankie Dettori and First Dates legend Fred Sirieix are the other celebs who have been eliminated so far. While food critic Grace Dent and Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn Spears both left the camp on ‘medical grounds’. This leaves Sam, Tony, Josie and Farage with former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold and JLS singer turned presenter Marvin Humes, who will battle it out to be crowned the 2023 King or Queen of the jungle.
Speaking about his progress on the show, Farage’s girlfriend said she believes he could go all the way. She said: “I really believe Nigel can win. He will be a good campmate. He is extremely tolerant of people’s little ways, and that will gain him support from the public.” Laure also spoke about him flashing his bottom as she said: “Nigel has a great bottom, what’s wrong with that? If you’ve got it flaunt it.”
