Piers Morgan and Nick Kyrgios have exchanged serves during an upcoming spot on Morgan’s Uncensored TV show.

The controversial tennis star and controversial broadcaster have had a feud dating back to 2016 when Morgan branded Kyrgios as “soft” after a loss to Andy Murray.

Morgan went further labelling Kyrgios a “petulant little brat” and a “sulk” before telling Kyrgios to “put your toys back in the pram and go home”.

Never one to shy away from a stoush, Kyrgios responded to Morgan on social media telling him to “eat a d…”, a moment the pair managed to laugh about in their interview.

“I can be a douche on the tennis court … I think we’re very alike.”

Morgan referenced Kyrgios’ press conference at Wimbledon last year, when the eventual runner-up ate sushi while fielding questions.

“How would you feel if while we’re talking right now I just start munching on sushi?” Morgan asks.

Kyrgios responds: “If I was talking to Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic I’d be like yeah, no, 100 per cent. But Piers Morgan, it’s like, it’s a problem,”

Morgan also labelled Kyrgios “a monumental a…hole,” after trying to get a women ejected from the Wimbledon final for having “700 drinks.”

“Imagine hurling constant foul-mouthed abuse in a Wimbledon final at your own support team/family for your bad shots?” he says.

However the pair seemed amicable for large portions of the interview which have been shared ahead of its full release. Kyrgios talks about dealing with racism and opening up about his mother being held at gunpoint in Canberra in May this year.

“The Kyrgios family has definitely dealt with their fair share of racism in Australia,” he says.

“I feel like the bad guy in a movie when I walk on the court.”
