Nigel Farage and Nella Rose clashed again during tonight’s action-packed episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The former UKIP leader complained he “can’t win” as he fumed at not being able to dress up as a Mexican man for a fancy dress party. YouTuber Nella reminded the former MEP that it’s ‘all about the context’, but he seemed to shrug off comments.
“If a white person does a black accent that’s considered to be a crime. It’s sort of ‘can’t win’ territory,” he told campmates Nella, EastEnders ‘ Danielle Harold and First Dates’ Fred Sirieix. “It’s rather like, you go to a fancy dress party, you’ll dress as something and the press will say it’s cultural appropriation. If you dressed as a Mexican or whatever it is.”

Fuming ITV viewers flocked to X, formally Twitter, to vent their views on the ordeal. With one saying: “Cultural appropriation isn’t that hard to understand Nigel ???” Another blasted: ” Nigel Farage trying to act like he’s on top of racism and just sticking his foot in it yet again I’m glad Danielle picked up on how Nella handled it because she must be EXHAUSTED living with him.
While a third penned: “Nella once AGAIN STANDING ON BUSINESS and calling out Nigel for what he’s talking about don’t play with Mother Nella like that she had him GAGGED real bad, in Nella we TRUST. Someone else added: “Nella is 100% right in this situation. Nigel’s ‘beliefs’ are finally coming out to show…”
While another viewer wrote: “Nigel is a very ignorant man and his views are so outdated I don’t wanna see how ya’ll spin this to blame Nella.” Someone else said: “Nigel it depends on the context. Listen to Nella. There is no major confusion at all. Every day is a school day, listen and be educated This is what causes conflict when people don’t listen.”
It isn’t the first time Nigel and Nella have butted heads, only last week viewers praised Nella after she confronted Farage over his anti-immigration views. She asked him “Why don’t black people like you? You want us gone, that’s all I understood. Let’s get everything out in the open. All the tea is coming out now… apparently, you’re anti-immigrants?”
Nigel replied: “Who told you that?” Nella said: “The internet.” Nigel added: “Oh, well there we are then it must be true.” Adding further fuel to the fire, Nella probed: “It must be! OK, but then why don’t black people like you?” Nigel replied: “You’d be amazed, they do. If you came with me through South London, you’d be astonished.” Nella reacted: “Nigel! Nigel! So everyone hates you for no reason? Not that everyone hates you, that was so bad. Sorry.”
Nigel insisted he was misunderstood. He added: “You can disagree with somebody, but to chuck around accusations the way they’ve been chucked around is grossly unfair. Anti-immigrant, right? No, no, all I’ve said is we cannot go on with the numbers coming to Britain that are coming.” Nella clapped back: “I’m one of the numbers?” Nigel responded: “So that’s it then, should it be 5 million a year, 10 million… you don’t seem to understand.”
Nella said: “Those immigrants that are coming in, I came in.” Nigel insisted: “Hang on! Think!” Nella asked: “What is so wrong about immigrants?” Nigel said: “Listen. Since 2000, the British population has increased by 10 million. 10 million.” Nella said: “Good thing, right?” Nigel replied: “Good thing, unless you want a GP appointment…”
